The blackness of night cannot cover
The blood red tears that drip from my heart.
The pain and fears that lonliness uncovers......
Cannot be measured when someone departs.
Slowly, I reach beyond this illusion.
Away from life - away from confusion.
I hold fast and grasp the pictures of you.......
Blue Shadows appear.......
As time drifts through the years......
Of all we intended to do.
And so I leave and walk in the sunlight
Holding tight the memories of a love so true.
Hoping, someday, we will walk together by moonlight;
Singing softly our loves songs renewed.
